Privacy Policy for "1001 English Sentences" (1001 Ҷумлаи Англисӣ)

"1001 English Sentences" ("1001 Ҷумлаи Англисӣ", the "App") is an educational app that helps users learn English through 1001 example sentences with Russian and Tajik translations, pronunciation (text-to-speech), CEFR levels, flashcards, quizzes, favorites and learning-progress tracking. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes and why.

The App does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or other directly identifying information.

Information Stored Only on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device (using local app storage) and is not transmitted to us:

Your learning progress, learned sentences, favorites and daily streak
App settings such as theme and preferences

This data is removed when you uninstall the App or clear its storage.

Information Collected Through Third-Party Services

The App uses the following services provided by Google:

1. Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used so we can improve it. It collects usage and diagnostic information, including:

App opens, screens viewed, session duration and frequency of use
In-app events such as learning a sentence, searching, listening to pronunciation, adding or removing a favorite, opening a notification and viewing an ad
Automatically collected technical data such as device model, operating system version, language, approximate region/country, and app instance identifiers (e.g. Firebase installation ID / app instance ID)

This information is used in aggregate and is not used to personally identify you.

2. Firebase Cloud Messaging (Push Notifications)

The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to send learning reminders and announcements. For this purpose a device registration token is generated and processed by Google. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

3. Google AdMob (Advertising)

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To serve, cap and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and process information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, general location, device information and interaction with ads. Where required, you will be asked for consent for personalized ads; otherwise non-personalized ads are shown. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings.

To analyze usage and fix bugs so we can improve content and stability
To send optional learning reminders and announcements
To display and measure advertisements that keep the App free

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Information described above is processed by Google as part of the Firebase and AdMob services. Google's handling of this data is governed by:

Data Retention

Data stored on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the App. Analytics data retention is controlled by our Firebase configuration and Google's default retention periods.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Your Choices

Disable push notifications in your device settings
Reset or limit the advertising identifier, and opt out of ad personalization, in your device settings
Clear the App's storage or uninstall the App to remove locally stored data

Security

We rely on the security measures provided by the Android/iOS platforms and by Google's Firebase and AdMob infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the limited information the App processes.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
